Gate City Brewery: January 30, 2020

More than 50 people came out to Gate City Brewing in Roswell, Ga.. to support the Training Legends Foundation’s inaugural We Are All Legends fundraiser on Thursday, January 30. The goal of the night was to raise awareness about the foundation’s mission where Kami Luigs, founder of Training Legends Foundation, touched the crowd with her inspiring story on why baseball is so important to our children, families and our local community. “The Training Legends Foundation understands the importance of Rec Parks in our community,” Luigs said. “If we can help keep them strong and thriving, then we can help bend the cost curve down regarding baseball allowing more children will have a chance to play and learn the valuable life lessons that the game imparts.” To make the evening extra special, there was plenty of entertainment to go around: Musician and youth baseball coach Brent McDonald sang and played a variety of contemporary tunes on his guitar. Meanwhile, event goers were provided play money to take their chances at the blackjack, roullette and craps tables, and players cashed in their chips later in the night for a chance to win gift certificates at local dining spots. On behalf of Training Legends Foundation, we would like to thank everyone who were able to join us for an amazing night, proceeds from We Are All Legends will go to help local youth baseball by keeping the cost curve down!
